Directions from M4 Motorway

DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV INSTRUCTIONS

Leave the M4 @ junction 34, and take exit signposted Llantrisant. At the first set of traffic lights turn right (by Castell Mynach Pub) Continue through the village of Groesfaen (watch for speed camera 30mph limit) for 2.1 miles.

(As you exit the village there is a turning on your left signposted Creigiau, please ignore this one.)

Take next turning left signposted Creigiau and Pentyrch and Efailisaf. Then take the first right signposted Pentyrch. Following yellow signs for Canada Lakes Fisheries.

Continue for 100 yards and Canada Lakes is on your right. Turn right here and continue along driveway. As you approach the stone lodge (Canada Lake Lodge) there is a track deviation on your left. Red Oak Creek is down this track.

Exit the A470 by Castell Coch signposted Pentyrch and Radyr. At the first roundabout turn right signposted Pentyrch.

Continue along this road for approx 3 miles. It’s goes up a hill and you pass a quarry entrance on your left.

You will now enter Pentyrch and at the T junction with the Lewis Arms pub turn right. Continue through village you go through two sharp left hand bends. You also pass school on right. You are now exiting the village heading towards Creigiau.

Continue along this road, it is Heol Pant Y Gored

Canada Lakes is one mile out of the village on your left hand side, just past a farm on your right.
